I’m Rhonda Daniels with BahHumbug!LLC and I started this site for women wanting to take control of their websites.
I have several online sites of my own, and I manage several for other people. One of my favorite things to do is to teach people how to do new things. I want to show you how to take care of your own site.
So why create this site?
I have an online garden business and once had a website managed by someone else. After being held hostage by temperamental web mistresses who didn’t update my site on time and still charged me for it, I took the bull by the horns and learned how to do it myself.
Yes, there were tears, and a bit of cursing. OK, there was a lot of cursing and there were plenty of times when I wondered if this was a good idea. Well, it turns out it was!
I’d like to help you learn to manage your own site, or at least understand what’s behind the curtain so you aren’t getting ripped off.
Sure, you may get frustrated, wonder if this was a good idea and may even take up cursing as you are learning. But just think, a year from now you could be amazed at how much you’ve picked up. You might even be bandying about terms like FTP and root directory…and actually know what they mean!
Oh, and you will undoubtedly discover that those nice folks at tech support are your new best friends

As always I am available to install and set up our basic six page site for anyone that doesn’t feel confident enough to tackle the techie side of things. Once your site is up I am always happy to sit down with you local folks and teach you how to dig in and use your new site!
